This is the moment brave Fiona Doyle said a final goodbye to her evil rapist dad Patrick O’Brien and tells us "I got the last word."
"I was told it was 12.30pm at Newlands Cross Cremation but when I got here with my brother Richard it was over," Fiona said, speaking exclusively to The Irish Mirror. "He’s gone now. I fought long and hard for what I got today and I am after getting it despite how much they tried to stop me getting it," she added.Fiona also said now that her evil rapist dad is gone she has gotten her freedom back and her shoulders are so much lighter as the last monster in her life has gone.
His death comes a month on from when Fiona exclusively told the Irish Mirror how she visited him in the nursing home one last time - as he lay on his deathbed. Bray native O’Brien was initially sentenced to 12 years in prison for his admitted rape and abuse of Fiona, with nine years suspended.
