Brave gardai tackle knife-wielding robber in Tallaght, Dublin
Shortly after 6pm today, a man armed with a knife entered a shop in Castletymon Shopping Centre in Tallaght, Dublin and threatened staff.Gardai from the Tallaght district drugs unit were patrolling the area nearby and tackled the man to the ground.A man in his early 40s was arrested and has been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 for questioning at Tallaght Garda Station.How to follow the Irish Mirror on social media You can like our main Facebook page here.
