has been left “a bit surprised” that the Home Secretary declined to apologise.
In response, the Home Secretary said she “won’t apologise” for her comments which she said were necessary to “demonstrate the scale” of the refugee “problem” – but also cited her own parents’ journey to the UK from Kenya and Mauritius in the 1960s. “Since the footage misrepresents the interaction about a sensitive area of policy, we have asked the organisation who posted the video to take it down.”
