Three people led 11-year-old mastiff, Bear, to a car that sped off

Brazen dog-nappers took a beloved pet from his owner's garden in Dundee. Mastiff Bear, 11, has been missing for almost a week after two women and a man stole the pet from a block of flats on Bonnybank Road around 7.30pm last Thursday .

He told the Record: "It seems so strange to take a dog of Bear's age. I am just hoping he isn't been used for baiting. For the first three nights after he was taken I didn't sleep a wink. Top news stories today After watching them try a buzzer and be let in by another resident, he saw them appear around 10 minutes later. He didn't recognise anyone from the group.

"I've also contacted the SSPCA and an appeal went out on a missing dogs site but nobody has heard or seen anything. I'm just desperately hoping someone might recognise them.
