Part of a busy road appears to have been closed
Armed police have been pictured at the scene of an incident outside a parade of shops in Salford. An incident is said to be ongoing, with other emergency services also at the scene on Liverpool Road in the Eccles area of the city.
A stretch of the busy road has been closed, with police tape marking a cordon outside a row of shops. In a video sent to the, armed police officers can be seen stood in the road outside, as firefighters and paramedics are massed in the background.Police appear to be watching a parade of shops on the other side of the road to the car garage.
