South Korea international ready to play big part in title race insists Parkhead boss.
Yang Hyun-Jun's season was grounded just as he started to take flight at Celtic after seeing red against Hearts. But Brendan Rodgers insists being sent off in Edinburgh could actually be the catalyst for the forward’s proper take off back in Glasgow.
“We spoke to him . It wasn’t his fault, it was unfortunate and sadly he has missed a couple of games. He will be back and feeling great and if anything it gave us the opportunity to put Nicolas Kuhn in aswell. “Whatever league you are in in Britain it’s a physically demanding league. He has just grown throughout the season and it’s so good to see.”
But one flick of his right boot against Hearts at the start of the month saw his momentum suddenly stall. Rodgers insists it’s only natural that young players travelling almost half the world for a new challenge in their career take time to settle.
