Brian admits he has a 'full on' work schedule between his radio and television commitments, but moving to Dublin to be closer to his work has helped his home life

She has started to sleep through the night which is incredible. The family also moved from Kildare to Dublin, which is handier for Brian’s career as a radio presenter on 98FM and host of The Six O’Clock Show.

Brian has always been focused on his broadcasting career since winning Big Brother in 2001, and prioritising sleep helps him power through working two jobs a day. He feels representation in Irish media is becoming more diverse, something which he didn’t realise was important when he started out in television.

“So when I did that dance with Kai, I realised it actually meant something. And what Katja and I do means something. It’s all about visibility. Children like us at home can watch us and think ‘I can do that too’, and that’s what it’s all about.”
