A record crowd of 43,881 attended the final at the Aviva Stadium
Brian Kerr celebrated with fans as his beloved St Patrick's Athletic defeated Bohemians to win the FAI Cup on Sunday.
Among those in attendance was former Republic of Ireland manager and massive St Pat's fan Kerr, who was clearly delighted to see Joe Redmond lift the cup for the Saints.The 70-year-old was seen celebrating with the Pat's players and staff on the pitch after the full-time whistle and the celebrations didn't stop there.
Bohemians took an early lead in the game through a Jonathan Afolabi penalty before Mark Doyle headed home a 23rd-minute equaliser for Pat's. Speaking after the match, manager Jon Daly said: “I had a firm belief that the group of players could go and achieve something remarkable this year and they have certainly done that and more.
