Brian has no bad feelings towards his former bandmates and has nothing but good memories from their time together, but has no plans to re-join Westlife in the future
The singer left the chart-topping boyband at the height of their fame in 2004 to pursue a solo career. These days, he is part of supergroup BoyzLife with Boyzone’s Keith Duffy.
“I’m not part of that band. There is a catalogue of music I’m not involved in so it would make no sense. How would that work?” He said: “I’m always very conscious that I want people to know how I feel about you boys. I feel there’s this impression that it’s ‘us’ and ‘them’. It’s never been like that. There was a lot of upset when Brian left Westlife but the Dubliner says the decision “worked out for everybody” in the long run.
