Brianna Ghey was killed in Warrington in February last year Eddie Ratcliffe, one of Brianna Ghey’s killers, is set to appeal his murder conviction after being jailed for a minimum of 20 years. Ratcliffe was 15 when he and Scarlett Jenkinson killed Brianna in Linear Park, Warrington, in February last year. Any decision on granting the appeal will be taken by a senior judge.
‘Two days before the murder you said you were excited. Brianna was killed with exceptional brutality.’ She added the terms are ‘lengthy for offenders of your age, albeit significantly less than an equivalent sentence for an adult’. Neither Jenkinson or Ratcliffe showed any emotion when they were sentenced.
