Her devastated parents are desperate for answers 💔
The parents of a "bright, outgoing and active" Yorkshire teenager have spoken of their devastation after she died from taking powdered Ecstasy, also known as MDMA.
A police investigation has taken place but no one has been charged in connection with Lila's death, her family said. Family members have raised concerns about what happened after she was taken ill and whether more could have been done. Lila's cousin, Leon Drake, of Keighley, set up a Go Fund Me page to help raise money for two memorial benches. More than £4,500 has been raised on the page and from a sponsored walk. The Go Fund Me page can be found here.
"She was really kind and always fun to be around, and also very talented. She was great at singing, playing the piano and dancing when she was young.
