The fourth edition of the weekend festival will return from Friday January 31 and will feature its largest programme of events to date

This year’s Brigit Festival is celebrating women of all ages and from all walks of life, the creative producer has said.

"It’s a really special event to mark St Brigit’s Day. We take the inspiration from the Celtic goddess, going back into pagan times, and then looking at Brigit through a contemporary lens. "We have the Imbolc Fair for all ages, where you can do all different types of activities, from flower crown making or making Brigit Cross, walking tours and workshops, so lots to do."
