Our money saving guru Jordon Cox is back with his top tips for making your money go further... and this week, he's rounded up everything from 'kids eat free' deals to free activities for your child this Easter
Kids are off school for the Easter holidays, and I’m sure they’re absolutely buzzing. Hopefully you will be too after you read these tips! I’m here to save you money. Especially because doing any ‘fun’ activity is expensive… probably £10+ a head. Kids’ meals are soaring in price and are usually £5-10 at restaurants now. No options seem cheap or affordable anymore.
‘Kids eat free’ deals Thankfully, you should never be paying full price for food during school half terms. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets consistently offer deals where your kids can eat for £1, or free, while they’re away from school. Kids can choose between a hot meal of pasta, or a cold sandwich box, both including a piece of fruit on the side.
Kids can choose between any meal available on the kids menu, all of which comes with a piece of fruit and drink.Free workshops for kids Shops across the country hold free events and workshops over the half term period for kids. Quite a lot teach your little ones a new skill, with zero cost to you. This Easter, you can decorate your own Easter Eggs, and make your own Easter wreaths! You’ll need to be signed up to the Ikea loyalty scheme known as Ikea Family to take part, but you can sign up for free at any time.
