Beloved dancer, Chantel was known for her vibrant personality and infectiously joyful presence. She not only showcased her talent on Britain's Got Talent, where her military-themed dance routine left audiences and judges in stitches, but also graced the stage in numerous musicals, including the Paris production of 42nd Street. Her gift for dance extended beyond the stage, as she even taught Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke the art of tap dancing.Chantel's loved ones have set up a fundraising page to cover the cost of her funeral, aiming to give her the 'showbiz farewell she deserves.' She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many.' They continued, 'We want to honour her life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her.' The campaign has surpassed its initial target of £8,000, with donations presently totaling £8,145. The remaining funds will be donated to Mind, a mental health charity, in Chantel's memory.A close friend and fellow performer, Katy Glover, paid tribute to Chantel, describing her as a 'whirlwind, the life and soul of the party and such a bundle of life.' Glover emphasized Chantel's dedication to her craft and her infectious passion for showbiz, saying, 'She lived and breathed glamour and showbiz and she was a fantastic tap dancer.'
