Amy Broadhurst has told Imane Khelif to "keep the head high" amid the abuse the Algerian has received over the Olympic gender row.
In another tweet, the Dundalk boxer criticised those in charge of the Irish boxing team and said she hopes they are "hanging their heads" over the way she was treated. The participation of Khelif and fellow boxer Lin Yu-ting at Paris 2024 has led to scrutiny after they were disqualified from last year’s World Championships for failing to meet gender eligibility criteria.
