A record amount of fans packed into Wembley Stadium Sunday to watch the Broncos defeat the Jaguars. The 86,215-person crowd is a record for an NFL International Series game in the U.K.
Once again, the Jaguars come out and punch their opponent in the mouth but can’t continue the success. Three of their first four drives went deep into Denver territory and only two came away with points after a costly Lawrence interception at the goal line. They only managed one drive inside the Broncos 40 yard-line on their final seven drives.
An interesting note on the Jaguars successful starts, especially on offense: the Jaguars are third in Expected Points Added per Play and fourth in success rate on offense in the first quarter this year, via TruMedia. They’re 15th in both metrics in the rest of the quarters and overtime.has been a revelation for Denver since coming off injured reserve three weeks ago.
