Former Eurovision hopeful Brooke Scullion has told of her excitement over musicians taking the Eurovision Song Contest seriously.
This year, former Sex Pistol’s hellraiser John Lydon, along with band Wild Youth are among the contenders to fly the flag for Ireland at the song contest in the UK.Reacting to the list of hopefuls, Derry girl Brooke said: “I’ve listened to all of the songs actually. It’s so exciting, there is a vast diverse range of music this year and I don’t know if that was because of me – I’m only joking.
On Sunday night, Brooke and her dance partner Maurizio Benenato took to the dance floor performing a quickstep along with dance partner Maurizio Benenato to the sound of Girls Aloud hit Love Machine – which features Nadine Coyle.
