The ‘Born in the USA’ singer took to the stage at the RDS for the first of his three Irish concert dates.
The former RTE journalist previously shared that meeting ‘The Boss’ was the final item on his bucket list.While performing on stage, Bruce dedicated a version of his hit song ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ to “my friend Charlie Bird” as he wowed fans in the RDS tonight. It follows Charlie previously sharing an update earlier in the week after injuring himself on a walk.Charlie wrote: “I met my great Pal Daniel today. Also so delighted that I lit a candle for frontline works. Great help today from them at Michaels and Vincent’s AE.
“Yes I have a fractured cheek bone. But I also got great news. That other wish on my bucket list is going to happen this weekend.”He also met up with another Irish legend - Shane MacGowan from The Pogues.She wrote: “What an amazing honour and a beautiful experience to get a visit from The Boss!!! @springsteen @ShaneMacGowan Such a truly wonderful man and a total genius!”READ MORE
