Efforts to prosecute a social media user who racially abused Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka have reached an impasse after social media platform X denied a police request
Police have been forced to abandon a probe into a racist who abused Arsenal star Bukayo Saka after social media platform X refused to cooperate, it has been claimed.
The individual in question is understood to be based outside the UK. However, without knowing their exact location, UK authorities are unable to escalate the case to the relevant bodies overseas. Mirror Football has contacted Arsenal and X for comment. "Once again, we are sad to have to say we condemn the racism towards a number of black players," the coub said at the time. "This cannot continue and the social media platforms and authorities must act to ensure this disgusting abuse to which our players are subjected on a daily basis stops now."
