A continued rise in air travel bookings despite price rises suggests Europe’s economy is more resilient than had been predicted
Michael O’Leary was in jovial form when he took the stage at the Bloomberg New Economy conference, held here in Ireland last week. As usual, the Ryanair chief executive didn’t hold back.
When asked about Brexit, one of his favourite topics, O’Leary branded Boris Johnson and other senior Brexiteers as “career liars and ambitious idiots” who had sold the British public a “tissue of lies”.
