A business owner in Collingham, near Newark, shares their experience of running a wig wam campsite at their livery yard, offering glamping facilities and attracting visitors with horses. The site is also home to the popular Collingham Horse Adventure Park.

A business owner has shared what the first year in business has been like, after launching a wig wam campsite at their livery yard where people can bring their hoses with them on holiday. Located in Collingham, near Newark, Orchard Stables began offering their glamping facilities last year after teaming up with Wigwam Holidays.

Kathy explained that people would travel to the park, and then end up sleeping in horse boxes overnight. The 58-year-old said: "People were coming to us to use the adventure park and then staying over in horse boxes. Some of the wigwams also have log fired hot tubs, which are also personalised to the site. Meanwhile, the adventure park is full of different obstacles for equestrians to tackle, and people can choose to hire it for a couple of hours or an entire weekend.
