The Dubliner became just the seventh ladies darts player ever to win more than one PDC Women's Series title

Leading ladies darts player Robyn Byrne heads into the final Irish ranking event of the year this weekend in great form after claiming the second PDC title of her career last Sunday.

Byrne, who will be favourite to win the Irish National Darts Organisation National Singles title in Galway this weekend, told The Irish Mirror that finally getting over the line against a player like Sherrock gives her extra confidence. Pressure is something that Byrne has become well used throughout her darts career, having won over 60 INDO titles over the past decade, as well as the World Cup and Europe Cup with the Irish Women's team. It's because of that experience that Byrne says she takes being the player to beat here in Ireland in her stride.

Byrne's position at the top of the INDO Ladies rankings means she's almost an absolute certainty to be on the Ireland team that will compete at the Islands International Cup next January. However, she will be keen to stay there and make it to the WDF World Cup in South Korea in September 2025, where the Irish Women's team will be defending champions after winning the title in 2023.
