A cafe has hit back after a customer left one-star reviews on both Tripadvisor and Google. She claimed that the price €10.38 for two 'very small thin toasted slice of sourdough' was 'unacceptable'.
A cafe has clapped back after an unhappy customer complained at being charged over €10 for extra toast.
Customer Sara explained that her party had ordered two soups and asked for an extra bread roll with each, which they expected to pay for. But it appears they were less than impressed with the two "very small thin toasted slice of sourdough" that they received.Sara claimed that the price of £9 was unacceptable for four "TINY thin slithers of rock hard bread".
"What we didn't expect was to be charged £9 for the extra bread. £9 for 4 TINY thin slithers of rock hard bread. I spoke to the owner who was just so rude asking why I expect food for free, he wouldn't listen when I tried to explain I expected to pay for it but that the price was extortion! He told me he doesn't care and for me to put a bad review on here, so here it is..
