Call the Midwife actress Leonie Elliott has quit the show after six years. The beloved actress played Nurse Lucille Robinson on the popular BBC drama.
Lucille has not been seen on the show since episode two of series 12.
The nurse was suffering from severe depression during the latest series and decided to leave Poplar for a break. Lucille decided to head home to Jamaica after struggling with her mental health for months.After returning to Poplar, Cyril revealed that Lucille had found a job as a nurse in Jamaica. Fans were delighted to hear she was doing better, but many feared Lucille would never return to Poplar at all.
