CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall, could clinch a higher honour than previously thought when her husband, Prince Charles, ascends the throne, according to a royal biographer.
at the beginning of the year which has widely been seen as a heartfelt gift and gesture of appreciation from the monarch. As of January 1, Camilla was appointed Royal Lady of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. The honour is the highest possible in British civil and military rankings, dating back to the fourteenth century.
