The Astros left him hungry for a return by winning the first two games of the American League Division Series.
The Astros won 4-2 on Thursday afternoon at Minute Maid after prevailing 8-7 on Tuesday in the series opener, both in comeback style. Houston needs only one victory in the best-of-five series to move on to the American League Championship Series against either the New York Yankees or Cleveland Guardians.
“It’s not us versus an all-world team. … If we play good baseball, we can win a game just as easily as they can. We ain’t worried about all that.” “They’re hit 10 feet the other way, and we’re running the bases and scoring multiple runs,” Seattle right fielder Mitch Haniger said. “They had us played really well. … Any loss is not ideal and not fun, but we know we’re just as good as them and right with ’em.
