Switzerland's Mauro Schmid finished second, trying but unable to match Woods's pace in the mountains, while the local audience cheered as Spaniard Marc Soler claimed third place.Women’s Irish Open: Players to watch, TV details, tickets, transport and weather forecastIreland’s Eddie Dunbar cross the line in 30th, 12 minutes 31 seconds behind Woods, while Darren Rafferty finished 70th. Dunbar is now 18th in the general ranking and Rafferty is 84th.
“I didn’t want to go as early as Mauro did but then I had to. It was a long four kilometres to be alone.” “I was pretty cooked. Sad times but I’m still in red so at least it’s a good thing,” said O’Connor, who finished 33rd in the stage, compared to Roglic’s 16th.
