King Charles hopes to attend this year’s Trooping the Colour celebrations King Charles is determined to attend one of the biggest events in the royal calendar, if his health allows it. It’s hoped the monarch – who is battling cancer – will be able to join the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London on June 15, despite the constraints of his ongoing cancer treatments.
The King was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer in January, after undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate.
