A full list of candidates has been published of the five people vying to be voted in as Police and Crime Commissioner .The poll, which will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024, will see five candidates hoping to be elected to the post which is held for four years.
PCCs ensure community needs are met as effectively as possible and local relationships are improving through building confidence and restoring trust. They work in partnership across a range of agencies at a local and national level to ensure there is a unified approach to preventing and reducing crime.
The list shows that incumbent PCC John Paul Campion is being challenged by four opponents for the position.
