A car was deliberately set on fire in Harthill on Tuesday night as police appeal for information on a car seen in the area.
A white Honda Civic was set alight at 10.30pm on Victoria Road. No one was injured and the fire was extinguished by fire fighters. Detectives in Lanarkshire are now appealing for information and are keen to trace a silver Ford Fiesta seen in the area around the time which was last seen heading towards West Main Street, Harthill.
