Car sales in the first ten months of the year are 0.6% higher year-on-year, but are 10.4% lower when compared to pre-Covid data
It brings to 104,056 the total number of new cars registered in Ireland in the first ten months of 2022, up 0.6% on the same period of last year.Meanwhile used car imports fell by 24.2% in the month, with imports down 26.6% in the year-to-date.
Plug-in hybrid vehicles made up 6.8% of registrations in the month, while hybrid vehicles represented 19.4% of registrations.
