''There's this voice in your head saying, you're not good enough'
Carl Mullan has been a firm favourite from the beginning of Dancing With The Stars and has made his way to the final this weekend.Carl credited his pro partner Emily Barker with helping him overcome his "imposter syndrome"."What I have struggled with, and this show made me realise this, is imposter syndrome," he said ahead of the DWTS final tomorrow. "Every week it's been a battle.
"Emily has been every week having to pick me up and be like, 'I'm telling you you're good enough to be here, you're good enough to do this dance'. "There's this voice in your head saying, you're not good enough, you're going to make a show of yourself. Every single week I've struggled with that on this show and it's gotten better as I've gone. That's how I've grown through this, I've learned to silence that voice in my head a little bit.""I think this show is such a brilliant showcase of the talent in Ireland," he said.
"If it comes back, I know it will be in the best of hands and they will be able to do an absolutely brilliant job of it. If it doesn't, if it does get replaced let's hope it's with something that brings as much joy to people and brightens up the winter months a bit."Read more:
