Catherine Tate shares Netflix's 'rude' decision to cancel her show without telling her
Netflix confirmed toTate multi-roled in the comedy series as six different inmates and staff who worked in a fictional prison, HMP Woldsley, and all teamed up to perform a musical., as a fictional member of the royal family who, after a series of misfortunate events, is shipped off to Australia to become their Head of State.
The series which is about to be released on BBC was affected by several delays, Tate explained: "It took a while to develop. Then it got green-lit and COVID happened. Then – I know I'm not supposed to talk about it – but happened. So every time it just kept getting pushed back and back and back. And we ended up not shooting it until last autumn."
