The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of Charles Joseph Pettit — the younger brother of ex-San Antonio attorney Christopher Pettit — a suicide.SAN ANTONIO — With allegations mounting that his older brother hadand the law practice where he’d been an employee shut down, Charles Joseph Pettit had apparently had enough.
Entering Charles Pettit’s house the next month, officers said they were overwhelmed with a strong odor and, according to a police report, found “obvious signs of decomposition” on his body.Christopher “Chris” Pettit’s former San Antonio law office at 11902 Rustic Lane is among the the properties being returned to the bankruptcy estate as part of a settlement agreement.
