Kingspan has been a long-time supporter of Cavan GAA, first coming on board as team sponsors in 1995 and later snapping up the naming rights for Breffni Park, the home of Gaelic games in the county.
Cavan GAA has refused to comment on its sponsorship deal with Kingspan following the damning findings of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
READ MORE: Niall Morgan is 'absolutely keen' on Malachy O'Rourke becoming the next Tyrone manager Kingspan subsequently enjoyed a similar arrangement with Ulster Rugby but while the province has moved quickly to clarify that the current sponsorship deal will come to an end in June of next year, Cavan GAA issued a “no comment” when contacted about the matter.
Golfer Shane Lowry’s sponsorship deal with the company has also been questioned in light of recent events.
