Cavan and Cork clash in the final round of Allianz Football League Division 2 fixtures
Cork travel to Cavan for their final Allianz Football League clash hoping to avoid relegation to Division 3, while the Breifne County are aiming for promotion to Division 1.
The match is one of a number of games being streamed live by TG4 on YouTube and you can watch the action on the video at the top of this article. Cork are in a good position to avoid the drop following their 1-23 to 0-18 victory over Louth last weekend and a draw against Cavan will see them stay in the division.
If Cork lose to Cavan and Louth and Down win their respective games today, there will be a three-way tie for the final relegation place.Meanwhile, Cavan look to be in a battle with Meath and Roscommon for the second promotion place, with Monaghan likely to go up given that they are two points ahead at the top of the table.
In the event that all three win, Cavan would need to better Meath’s result by six points and Roscommon’s by 15.
