Police have issued an image of an individual they are describing as a 'suspect' following an unprovoked early morning attack.
A man, in his 20s, was left with a serious facial injury when he was punched on King Street in Whalley, Ribble Valley. Officers say the incident happened at around 1.25am on September 17 and was captured on CCTV footage. According to Lancashire Constabulary, the video shows the victim being punched by a man in an apparently unprovoked attack. Officers investigating the incident now want to track a down a man seen in the CCTV footage.An image was released by the force today alongside alongside a description which says the man is 5ft 10, wearing a black jacket, black jeans and black shoes..
A spokesperson said: "Anyone who recognises the suspect or has information about the incident, is asked to contact 101 – quoting log 0100 of September 17, 2022."
