Celebrity Gogglebox star Shaun Ryder has opened up about how Ozempic has helped him lose weight he gained over lockdown, caused by side effects of his underactive thyroid
Celebrity Gogglebox favourite Shaun Ryder has candidly spoken about his battle with gaining weight over lockdown, admitting he "ballooned up to 15 stone" due to a persistent health issue.
Shaun lamented the struggle to lose the weight he gained during lockdown, despite his best efforts which included cycling. "It was so hard to get off what I put on in lockdown. I ballooned up to 15st and just couldn't get rid of it, even with cycling," he shared.
Shaun had previously spoken about his use of Ozempic last year, confessing that he had shed two stone. "I think I was 16 stone and now I'm down to 14 because of them jabs you stick in your belly, that they say the Kardashians are on? Ozempic. I've been on them and I've lost two stone," he revealed in an interview. He confessed that participating in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here's all-stars series made him realise that he needed to take care of his health.
