Michael Beale has described McPherson's part in the incident as 'out of character'
Bosses at two of Scotland's biggest football teams have broken their silence on an incident which saw Celtic women's boss Fran Alonso appear to be headbutted by Rangers coach Craig McPherson during the women's derby earlier this week.
The incident, the subject of police enquiries, occurred at full-time after the Hoops had scored a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw.Rangers' Michael Beale has described McPherson's part in the incident as "out of character". "The SFA, the club and Craig are away having discussions about it. I personally haven't spoken to him on it."
