Celtic rebounded from their Old Firm derby loss with a 3-0 victory against St Mirren while Rangers were held to a 3-3 draw by Hibernian.
Celtic recovered from last week's Old Firm derby loss to Rangers with a comfortable 3-0 home victory over St Mirren. Capitalizing on Rangers ' 3-3 draw at Hibernian, Brendan Rodgers' team extended their lead at the top of the table to 13 points. Nicolas Kuhn opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, with Auston Trusty doubling the lead just before halftime. Kuhn added his second and 16th goal of the season midway through the second half, securing the 3-0 win for the Bhoys.
Meanwhile, Hamza Igamane's hat-trick was not enough for Rangers to secure victory as Rocky Bushiri's late header earned a dramatic 3-3 draw for in-form Hibernian at Easter Road. Igamane put Rangers 2-0 up inside 20 minutes, but Hibs rallied to level with a double from Martin Boyle, the second from the penalty spot. Igamane restored Gers' lead in the 74th minute, only for Bushiri to equalize in the 83rd minute, extending Hibernian's unbeaten run to six games. Aberdeen's winless streak stretched to 10 matches following a 2-0 defeat at Motherwell. Ewan Wilson scored his first professional goal before a red card for Slobodan Rubezic and a quickfire goal from Tawanda Maswanhise sealed the victory for Motherwell. James Penrice scored the only goal as Hearts secured a 1-0 win at Dundee United, their second consecutive league victory and a gap of eight points over St Johnstone, who lost 3-1 at home to Dundee
