Celtic fans have shown their latest support for those in the Middle East by bringing Palestine flags to Tynecastle.
Celtic fans have shown their latest support for Palestine amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza by bringing flags to their showdown at Tynecastle vs Hearts.
The Green Brigade unfurled a banner showing their support for those in the Middle East in the home game against Kilmarnock before the international break, which stated: "Free Palestine. Victory to the resistance". The club condemned any support towards Palestine being shown at the future fixtures, though the ultras group replied by calling Hoops chiefs 'hypocrites' for their cold shoulder to the situation.
It's sparked tensions in the east end, and with Liel Abada being told to leave Celtic by his Israeli teammates as a result of the messages displayed at Celtic Park, it's something which won't go away lightly. But Hoops fans have acted in their away game in the capital by bringing individual Palestine flags and holding them aloof at Tynecastle, showing their latest spell of support for the victims of the conflict.
