The Bayer Leverkusen star could be sold this summer - with the Hoops set to bank a hefty payday at the same time.
Both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been warned about paying out for Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong - with Celtic facing a nervous wait for a sell-on payday.
United had reportedly been among the frontrunners for a deal - but with owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe cutting costs at Old Trafford amid fears over Financial Fair Play punishments Erik ten Hag has been urged to halt the recruitment drive. The Dutch boss has been told to tell Aaron Wan-Bissaka to 'f****** defend' by Dwight Yorke rather than spend big this summer.
"Man United already have a good right-back in Aaron Wan-Bissaka, but you can say he's the opposite of Frimpong, great defensively but not that great going forward. When we attack, we should be letting Wan-Bissaka sit back and offer more defensive protection, handling the one-on-one on the wing. PSG have also been touted with an approach for Frimpong by Diario AS, with Nordi Mukiele set to leave this summer while Achraf Hakimi is also said to be commanding "interest." But CBS Sports reporter and PSG insider Jonathan Johnson played down the prospect of a move on the PSG Talking podcast.
