A homeless charity has been left unable to feed thousands of vulnerable Scots after cruel vandals torched their delivery van

.

Edinburgh Live reports that around 20,000 beneficiaries in 130 groups that the charity delivers to every week will be affected by the fire as pantries across the city are cancelled this week. “We are working on getting a replacement van organised as soon as we are able, but without doubt, several tonnes of food will be wasted, food pantries will be cancelled and a high number of the 20,000 beneficiaries we support every week will go without food.”

Cyrenians stated on their website that Police Scotland are investigating the incident, which they described as a 'fire-raising incident'. SFRS confirmed that they attended the incident on Jane Street.
