Charlie issued an update on his final bucket list wish
Former broadcaster Charlie Bird has issued a major update on his final bucket list item in life, the possibility of meeting legendary American Bruce Springsteen.
The 73-year-old previously stated: "On my bucket list I said I would love to meet Bruce Springsteen, I have no idea if that will happen."Fans were concerned on Monday, when the former RTÉ journalist revealed that he had "a bad fall" out walking and was rushed to A&E. However, he said: "Still hoping I will get to meet Brucie even with a bloody face."
"I met my great Pal Daniel today. Also so delighted that I lit a candle for frontline works. Great help today from them at Michaels and Vincent’s AE. Yes I have a fractured cheek bone. But I also got great news.Earlier today Bruce was pictured meeting Pogues frontman Shane McGowan, and it looks like Charlie may get to meet his musical idol after all, who is set to play three nights, Friday, Sunday and Monday at the RDS Arena in Dublin.
