'Recent checks with contacts suggest there is reason to believe he might yet leave in the summer.' CFC

Chelsea ‘bemused’ by £33m flop and Boehly plots quick sale; £87m transfer ‘not totally gone away’Chelsea have reportedly been ‘bemused’ by Kalidou Koulibaly this season and the Premier League club are ready to sell him as early as next summer.

Chelsea signed him from Serie A outfit Napoli for around £33m. He was one of their marquee additions in defence after Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left the club. Ex-England manager Fabio Capello recently suggested that Koulibaly has shown “no personality” at Chelsea.“When he has the ball at his feet he hesitates. He is not playing quickly, he does not do what he did at Napoli.

“Actually, he is surprising me. I thought he had a great personality, and for Chelsea, he would be really important and explode straight away. And yet, at this moment, this is not him.”They even state that he ‘might yet leave’ later this year as their pursuit of Josko Gvardiol is not yet off the table.
