Cheltenham Day One confirmations: Irish Point to take chance in Champion Hurdle

The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding is one of eight runners set to go to post for the feature race on Tuesday

Irish Point will take his chance in the Unibet Champion Hurdle after the declarations for Day One of the Cheltenham Festival were revealed.

Townend has decided to partner the Rich Ricci-owned Gaelic Warrior in the Arkle Novice's Chase, with Danny Mullins riding stable Il Etait Temps.
