Marine Nationale and Jazzy Matty stole headlines on Day Two of Cheltenham.
There were poignant and emotional scenes in Cheltenham on Wednesday as Marine Nationale and Jazzy Matty raced to victory as the memory of Michael O'Sullivan reverberated around Prestbury Park.
It was a day for the bookmakers as 20/1 priced Lecky Watson raced to victory in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase while The New Lion opened up proceedings with a victory in the Turner's Novices' Hurdle. Lecky Watson's Brown Advisory win came at odds of 20-1 while 40 minutes later Jimmy Du Seuil was winning the Coral Cup under his nephew Danny Mullins at 16-1.Gavin Cromwell was speaking about Stumptown pre-race: "You'd want to talk to Stumptown , he definitely loves them but he has a lot of weight. He is very effective at this and hopefully he can carry the weight."It's one of the best races of the Festival, but all eyes are on Stumptown, while Galvin is priced at 4/1.
