What a star Alisha Weir is! latelate latelateshow
It’s fair to say that Ireland has produced its fair share of successful actors, being the home to many stars including Liam Neeson, Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal… the list goes on. But the most recent star that’s been on the Hollywood radar is 13-year-old Dubliner Alisha Weir.
She told RTÉ that although it is her first "big role", her co-stars guided and provided support for her along the way. Alisha will appear on the Late Late Show tonight, but this isn’t the first time she’s appeared on the Irish talk show.What has she previously starred in? Alisha Weir first appeared on the Late Late Toy Show in 2017 and wowed the audience by singing a rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colours. Now, the child performer has swapped the Toy Show stage for Hollywood as she will appear in a new Netflix musical due to be released next week.
More recently, she played the character of Primrose in the animated movie OOPS! The Adventure Continues, together with big names such as McFly’s Tom Fletcher.
