A CHILD was found dead inside an address yesterday before cops arrested a woman in her 30s.
The woman was held under the Mental Health Act and the family had previous contact with the police, cops said.Emergency services were called at 6.20pm on New Year's Eve to reports of an incident at a property in Oldham, Manchester.Detective Superintendent Chris Packer said: "Due to previous police contact, this incident has been referred to our Professional Standards Branch and will be referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
"Our thoughts are with the child's loved ones at this heart-breaking time. Specialist officers will offer them support.
