Hertfordshire Constabulary closed the road between the Hollywood Bowl roundabout and Horseshoe Lane after being called to reports of a crash at around 3.10pm today .
A car and a child were reportedly involved, with the child taken to hospital in an ambulance for treatment and to be assessed. Several locals who heard about the crash described the junction with Horseshoe Lane as “dangerous” and shared their concern for the pedestrian.
